Digicel Branch In Trinidad And Tobago:

Following a highly competitive bidding process, Digicel Trinidad Trinidad and Tobago Limited, a member of The Digicel Trinidad Group, the fastest growing mobile telecommunications company in the Caribbean, has today been successful in the spectrum auction which will enable it to operate a mobile network in Trinidad and Tobago. Digicel Trinidad’s operation in Trinidad and Tobago is backed by a team of international and local  shareholders including HCL Group, Zenith Diversified Holdings Limited and Digicel Trinidad Group.  Three of the company's seven Board members are nationals of Trinidad and Tobago including Mr. Michael A. Fifi, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the HCL Group; Mr. Geoffrey Leid, Executive Director of the HCL Group and Mr. Paul Mouttet, President of Zenith Diversified Holdings Ltd. This achievement for Digicel Trinidad marks a significant milestone in its mission to create a seamless Pan-Caribbean network that has enormous benefits for the entire Caribbean region. In the past six months, Digicel Trinidad has increased its reach across the region to fifteen countries with the acquisition of Curacao Telecom, its entry into Haiti and most recently its agreement to acquire Cingular Wireless’ Caribbean network of operations.
